Part 1 all-festival pass on sale now!
Secure your seat now...pass sales continue through September 2
HERE is the PayPal link for purchasing our all-festival pass for THE FRENCH HAD A NAME FOR IT ‘24 (Part One)…that’s $89 for fourteen films screening at the Roxie from October 3-7 (including the blockbuster three-part LES MISERABLES on Sunday October 6th!)
Or visit the MCP web site where a similar link for purchasing a pass is within easy reach…while there, you can scroll down a bit for more information about the films in the series, including some (surprisingly) pithy previews!
WE know that it sometimes requires a little extra time for some of you to make that purchase, which is why we have a two-week period for all of the different “gears of engagement” that are in play…but please don’t take too long, because seats are limited for our October 4th/October 5th shows, which are in the Little Roxie. Pass sales end on September 2nd OR whenever the limit is reached. (There will be a few Little Roxie single seats available after that, but the price will be higher, so move quickly for your best deal!)
Below we’ve included another look at the full schedule for FRENCH ‘24 (both Parts 1 and 2) so you’ll have that info easily available until our physical postcards arrive at the Roxie.
And remember that there will be two intermissions as part of the October 6th presentation of LES MISERABLES, which will screen in the big theatre. Be sure to let your friends and acquaintances who are not regular attendees of our FRENCH festivals that this is a very special, one-of-a-kind event with a similar “spectacle quotient” analogous to what captivates lovers of silent film (and, indeed, LES MISERABLES director Raymond Bernard began his career in the silent era; his cinematographer, Jules Kruger, was behind the camera for Abel Gance’s NAPOLEON).
IF you’ve read this far and don’t want to have to scroll back up in order to secure your pass, here’s that PayPal link again. Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing all of you on October 3rd!
